Architectural Photography / Architectural Photographers
Architectural photography covers many disciplines. From completed new builds to partly constructed structures - we shoot them all. Our architectural photography is kept simple, with the understanding that architectural images require their form to be
prevalent over function and truly appreciate the fact that horizontal and vertical lines need to appear permanently perpendicular to the ground.
At Alive, we are extremely thankful to some of our clients for giving us the opportunity to shoot some aesthetically stunning architecturally designed buildings of the twenty first century.
Exterior architectural photography usually takes advantage of the best available daylight, or if this is not possible, night shots with long exposures can achieve some fantastic results. Ambient light is used to capture the perfect moment at which the adjacent street lights, landscape lights, car light trails or even moonlight create the correct mood for the scene. Mainly, the trick is to attain a shot where the aesthetic harmony of a building and its environment are caught in unity.
